DARB W DAR

Lebanon has a limitless potential in the rural tourism sector and can offer added value experiences to visitors away from the jammed and hectic cities.

Darb w Dar is a project that aims to promote sustainable rural tourism in the North of Lebanon, and more specifically in Denniyeh, while supporting the youth and women living in the area to improve their living condition, create their own projects and generate more income.

DARB Track

The Darb track provides entrepreneurship training and mentoring support to youth aged 18 to 29 years old who have already established small businesses or would like to develop new and innovative ones to further promote ecotourism in Denniyeh.

DAR Track

The Dar track provides training to women in Denniyeh and aims to promote local guest-housing and hospitality services which will help them generate an income while encouraging tourism in the area.

Darb w Dar is part of the Local Development Programme for Deprived Urban Areas in North Lebanon (UDP-NL). UDP_NL is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in partnership with INJAZ Lebanon and the Ministry of Social Affairs. It is co-financed by The European Union in Lebanon and the German Government.
